STEPfix is a leading after-sales (repair & maintenance) services provider of micromobility; primarily any two-wheelers: from e-steps, to e-bikes and e-scooters. We provide services for both B2C (individuals) and B2B partners, that can be categorized as retailers, resellers, bike/step/scooter brands & producers, leasing firms, sharing operators and so on. Our operational model combines physical bulk repairs at our centralized repair hubs with mobile repairs done at the premises of our clients.

We are currently the preferred repair partner of Hubo, Felyx, Denver, Minerva, Pony, Ahooga and others in the pipeline.

We have sustainability and circularity at the core of our values. We promote more sustainable and environment friendly modes of transportation (micromobility), but also fight against excessive consumption and electronic waste by prolonging the lifespan of older devices as well as refurbishing end-of-life devices to give them a second life.

In addition, our culture strictly looks for ambition and resilience. We are looking for profiles who would like to make an impact and contribute to the growth story of the company. We do not necessarily work hard, but we work smart. We need to keep the focus and be transparent in our communication. It is ok to make mistakes and screw up, rather than taking no action. We try to be as diverse as possible with almost having no nationality represented more than twice in the firm.

For internships, we usually have a 2-3 staged process.

  • First call takes around 20 minutes, focusing on basic simple admin/logistics details and getting a feeling of the personality
  • Second stage usually is done remotely through a case-study (for Marketing/Ops).
  • Third stage is at our office, where you can meet the rest of the team, see the work environment (coworking space) and we can detail out the role further and get to know you a bit more.

You will be rotating in a number of roles/responsibilities within the company, and can learn a lot on:

  • Operations: supply chain, logistics, ERP, inventory management, warehousing
  • Marketing: conversion, SEO, digital advertising, social media management, website development
  • CRM: managing customer relationships using several tools (Odoo, Hubspot, Trello, …), solving problems of our clients.
  • Startup: how a startup works and how entrepreneurship in reality is.
