14“Since I started at delaware, I’ve been working for Skylux, automating their production planning processes via an ERP implementation. As we are now in the blueprinting phase for the business process, I’m assisting my more senior colleagues during workshops with important stakeholders. Using the blueprint, I analyze the different processes that exist in the clients’ production flow. The final blueprint is translated to a software system, in this case Microsoft Dynamics.” — Ann-Sophie Van Eeckhoutte
"In my current project at Yusen Logistics, we’re implementing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system for all day-to-day finance processes. As a business analyst, I’m in charge of the system’s validation tests, making sure that all the flows are working correctly, for example, checking if an invoice is going to the right party after activating this step. Another part of my job is to configure the system based on the customer's needs and deliver training to explain how the ERP works. Every day, I learn about new features as ERP systems are full of possibilities!" — Sébastien Belloso
“As a functional consultant on the Operate team, I’m responsible for the digitization of my clients’ HR processes, ranging from hiring to retirement of staff. On one of my projects, the client wants to configure the sending of automatic e-mails to candidates throughout the selection process. These e-mails contain different pieces of information, such as the date, place, and time of the next interview, a link to the career site, documents that need to be signed by the candidate, etc. Thanks to my work, the HR managers will make fewer mistakes and save lots of time in the future.” — Manon Piron
“I started as a junior IT consultant on the Single Source of Truth team in September. My project for Etex Group is fascinating. I’ve had the opportunity to implement back-end systems for their enormous websites and integrate them with other software. Additionally, we’ve worked on a fire protection website/app that we had to implement from scratch. This included SQL statements, stored procedures, importing it all into C#, creating a REST API, writing validators, and writing some front-end for another app. After signing my contract I still had some doubts about whether I had made the right choice. Now that I’ve been working here for a few months, I’m absolutely sure that I did!” — Sibian De Gussem
“In my first year at delaware, I’ve been working on the Medusa migration project at De Watergroep. From a back-end perspective, our goal is to migrate and validate the full data model from SQL Server DBMS to the cloud-based Databricks data platform. My role on the project has been to extract the data from the source system and transform it into consistent input for the target system. Then I validate the data to ensure it has been transferred correctly and that all integrity rules have been maintained. This way, data is made available to front-end systems and can be used for the requested processes." — Irene Paolini
