Are you studying to become an engineer, but still without a clue about what you can do with your degree? Perhaps you’re graduating and you already have a company in mind, but you don’t know the best way to apply? Or maybe you’re not in your final year but want to experience a first taste of the real world through an internship? Then let us present ‘MaChT Meets The Industry’, the perfect opportunity to get in touch with the chemical and materials science industry.
During this event, you will be able to talk to professionals from major international companies and PhD students from research groups active in your field of study. The evening will kick off with each company presenting themselves in a one-minute pitch. Following that, the main event begins, allowing you to engage in 15-minute speed dates with 5-6 companies. These companies are selected by us, based on the top 8 you gave when registering. Naturally, several appetizers will be provided during the speed dates to satisfy all of your cravings. Afterwards, you will still have plenty of time to continue your conversations with the companies you've spoken to, or connect with a company you didn’t have a chance to meet yet. No matter what year you’re in, this event offers the ultimate opportunity to meet your future colleagues.
Only Ghent University students ‘Chemical engineering' and ’Sustainable Materials Engineering' in their masters or 3rd bachelor are allowed to register for this event.
